Sinusoidal filter reactors
In environments with high sensitivity to inference or for motors with long cable lengths, the rectangular pulses of the output voltage of PWM converters can have significant negative effects. Sinusoidal filter reactors effectively generate a sinusoidal voltage waveform and eliminate the peak voltage doubling effects associated long motor cables while minimizing dV/dt.
Sinusoidal filter reactors protect motors from damage to severe peak voltages caused by voltage reflection. They can increase the efficiency and service life of motors, ensure lower audible noise emissions and can help to reduce interfering emissions transmitted from the motor cables.
