UL certification
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is one of the world's leading independent testing and certification organisations in the field of product safety. In addition to imposing stringent requirements on the electrical safety of goods, it focuses primarily on avoiding risks posed by flammability and preventing personal injury.
With the UL test mark, MANGOLDT products prove that they comply – down to the smallest detail – with the very demanding safety requirements of American and Canadian standards, as well as many other international standards. For selected choke core types, UL certification according to File E173113 is available as a Recognised Component. We also offer many core types in insulation class H with certification according to File E173113 H – both with the Recognised Component mark and the UL Listed mark.

We have long taken sustainability and environmental compatibility into account when developing new products. Back in 2004, we switched all our products to components that comply with the EU Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
The directive restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and sets strict limits on the maximum concentrations contained. RoHS 2011/65/EU confirms that all our electrical engineering products contain lead, mercury, cadmium and other substances only within the permitted concentrations. The quality of function and workmanship remains fully guaranteed, of course.
