The MANGOLDT headquarters in Aachen has been the home and competence centre of the group since 1948. This is where product innovations – such as our chokes with indirect water cooling – are developed and manufactured. In addition to state-of-the-art computer-aided 3D design processes, state-of-the-art manufacturing technology is also available.
The production and storage areas in the buildings, which were modernised and expanded in 2011, are the largest in the MANGOLDT Group. Product development, sales and quality management for the entire group are organised and controlled from Aachen.

Since 2016, HANS VON MANGOLDT TAIWAN Ltd. has been responsible for the final assembly and testing of the most important chokes for the East Asian market. The newly constructed building in the duty-free zone of the port of Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facilities. Production and quality management are specified and controlled from the headquarters in Aachen.
The logistically favourable location of the site shortens delivery times in the Western Pacific region and simplifies and accelerates customs clearance there. The infrastructure is already consistently designed for growth and capacity expansion.

To best serve the Indian market and neighboring regions, MEHER MANGOLDT INDUCTORS PVT. Ltd. was established in 2013 as an equal joint venture with Meher Ltd. The cooperation in Bangalore, South India, is based on a partnership between the participating companies that spans more than 30 years. Thanks to this collaboration, the MANGOLDT Group is ideally positioned to exploit the growth potential in this emerging region and to establish a strong network in the local market.
Our clients benefit from this as well as from shorter delivery routes and the elimination of import duties. In Bangalore, air chokes for outdoor use and iron core chokes for low-voltage applications are primarily manufactured. The design takes place in Aachen, and all quality checks and test procedures comply with the specifications of the head office.
